1. The grounds are absolutely beyond spectacular and the first afternoon that we arrived we walked around the front and back with its many swimming pools, saltwater tide pools, waterfall, rocking chair benches, and the most gorgeous foliage I've ever seen at a resort hotel.

2. The rooms are very spacious and luxurious with marble floors, double sinks and a very comfortable bed (which is important, I have been to other hotels where it was like sleeping on a rock).

7. The ocean beach, at least during the time we stayed, was too dangerous (riptide,rocks) for them to swim or body surf but provided a great place to watch local surfers strut their moves.
