We also appreciated the beach club which was really a surprise as the hotel was advertised as 'hotel and spa'- whereas I was a little disappointed that there was no real spa on the property, the beach club made up for it- it was a pleasure not having to pay for the chaises and cushions(but there was a small fee for the umbrella).

7. not to mention for some more night life across the street the super trendy shore club which i have stayed in and was disappointed because it was double the price like over 300 dollars a night versus 175 for Catalina for half the size of room or quality of bed.
