8. The buffet breakfast was no better than that found at a Holiday Inn Express or a Country Inn & Suites but it cost 4x as much and the restaurant staff was not friendly & so slow that we wanted to go find the kitchen just to get some coffee.

9. week over holidays at marriott wailea, we upgraded to suite (family of 5)bedding was poor - beds very softinternet was incredibly slow in room (not worth the $15/day) - free wifi at starbucks okaylimited food outlets on property, buffet okay for breakfast - make sure you give marriott rewards number at check-in (go online and get prior) as F&B is 30% off for marriott rewards membersnice beaches & poolspools/slides not as cool as at Grand Wailea next door but Marriott much better suited if you have kids <8 or so.
