8. Other pros - all constuction appears to be finished and the infinity pool is beautiful; all staff were extremely pleasant and responsive to all requests; you and your bags are driven to your room on a golf cart which can also be requested at checkout; tried room service once and the food was fantastic, hot, and arrived within 30 minutes of ordering; the 2 level parking lot if you choose to self park is less than a 100 feet away from the lobby; each room has a mini-fridge and both the hotel shop as well as the Shops at Wailea (a mall just on the other side of the parking lot) sells milk, cereal, a variety of other take away foods and liquor should you want to eat in; they hold a luau Mon, Thur, Fri, Sat which as a guest you can watch the show/ fire dancers for free from the numerous paths that surround the stage and if you stay in Hale 7 - from your balcony (of note, runs only till about 8pm and thus won't disturb your sleep); the hotel is on the path that runs up and down the coast for a couple miles in each direction - was fun testing out all the various beaches although found the Wailea beach the nicest (surf not too rough, wide sandy beach, lots of chairs about, located just beyond the luau lawn); my room was clean, nice island decor with a deep soaking tub; tried out the spa once and found it to also be great (very soothing, relaxing ambiance with extremely pleasant staff).
