1. However, parking in general is a major problem of Kauai and keep an open mind for it is not that bad at the Westin.

4. There is only one restaurant and no real 'common areas' which was a problem for us as we were there during a pretty severe storm.

5. Only problem was the weather - I wouldn't' recommend staying on that side of kauai during the winter season, as the rain was not JUST in the mornings ( which websites often say), but could be all day.

7. Great views from room, only problem was in the mornings with chickens and ducks honking starting about 6am - saw later that they get fed by some guests and start showing up for breakfast.
