1. The negatives are that there isn't beach access at the hotel and there is no on-site spa.

We knew this was a timeshare property and had read some of the negative reviews about how people were treated by the staff after either declining to listen to the sales pitch or choosing not to buy in, but our experience was very pleasant - even after my husband firmly but nicely told them we weren't interested in listening to their pitch.

10. The only negative experience we'd encounter was not being informed that the guests who own timeshares or are part of the AmEx promotion receive a different cleaning package, which allows only 1 tidying up (basically, change of towel) during the whole stay.
