5. Kind of cool if you like watching frieghters being guided in by tugboats, but kind of ugly if you'd rather not see chemical mixing tanks on your otherwise-beautiful horizon.

6. our new room (after moving all our luggage) had a large lanai, but looked over the roof of the room below us and to the side ( also brown and very ugly).

7. our room was nice except that half our deluxe ocean view was of a rooftop of an adjoining room (you'll notice this about the architecture), which was brown and ugly and stained with bird poop.

8. Upon booking our room, I was told that our Deluxe Ocean View room would have a FULL PANORAMIC VIEW OF THE OCEAN & instead, our balcony view was of the ugly industrial park at Barber's Point & of the Ko'Olina under construction, complete with industrial cranes (see my pics).

10. I entered bed area and saw the 'mountain view'-- in fact--looked down onto a very ugly rooftop (#638-why doesn't someone put potted palms and bouganvillea on that rooftop out there to at least make it look decent?.
