1. I'm 6'4' and my wife finally resigned to sleeping on a combination 'loveseatchair' since I was laying diagonally across the tiny bed.

4. We had those tiny ants in our room, 'nonos' but it wasn't a problem, just seal up your food or put it in the fridge.

5. But the room was really dated and the bed was lumpy and squeaky with sheets that had tiny blood stains.

6. One was the parking; the spaces were SO tiny and SO crammed together that I almost always had to get out of the car before my fiance could park; not bad for a one or two night stay, but it got tiresome after over a week.
"Awesome place, except.. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/1/2009 Vote
7. Pros+ location: all rooms are oceanfront, overlooking Lanai to the left and Molokai to the right+ location: near the highway and equidistant between the north and south of the westside of the island+ location: a 3 minute drive to a grocery store (Star Market)+ huge units (the studio is way bigger than most hotels' 1-bedrooms)+ well manicured grounds+ pool area with hottub, bbq grilles and shuffleboard is excellent+ full-sized in-room laundry (washer/dryer), refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, stove, TV, stereo, hairdryerCons- woefully understaffed, and therefore painfully slow and sometimes curt, front desk- swimming isn't too good on the beach, as there's lots of sharp reefs, and the visibly is too poor for snorkeling- insufficient parking: mostly tiny stalls and you might have to park on the street rather than the lot, especially if you return late- nickle and diming ($1 laundry soap or coffee; $2.
"Pros outweigh cons " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/25/2009 Vote
8. No restaurant (yes, others mention walking to nearby places, but they aren't REAL restaurants -- more like pizza shops and fast food), you can't swim at the beach (must walk a distance and still have no facilities like chairs), and the pool is tiny for the number of units there and it's mostly in shade for the better part of the day.
"Mahana is great....for what it is " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/16/2006 Vote
