1. Many are owner managed so there is a lack of consistency in enforcing some of the policies such as it being non-smoking.

4. The only issues I had with the property were minor - construction going on (removal of planters from front of building), internet issues (good thing I had Clear Wireless with a great signal), and the aforementioned lack of storage to hold baggage.

10. The lack of swimming in the ocean right there at the hotel was a bummer (coral reefs right offshore made it a no-no for swimming), but that's not something they can help, and there are plenty of places on the island to swim in the ocean, so I'm not counting that against them.
