1. It was loud and very forceful, sitting on the lounge you felt like it was blowing straight in your face.

2. We couldn't sleep with the lanai door open - just too loud.

3. Unfortunately the coral bottom in front of the Mahana makes the waves crashing VERY loud.
"Outstanding view, very comfortable condo " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/26/2011 Vote
4. My second ding is that there was loud messy construction all week long when we were there, though thankfully not on the weekend, and there was NO advance notice about that, even at checkin.
"Lovely location but ask some questions in advance " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/17/2011 Vote
5. The sound of the surf is quite loud during the night, so bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper, but we didn't mind the constant waves during our stay.
"Mahana Room 307 is a great value with a great view " Read full review on TripAdvisor   11/6/2011 Vote
6. We always left the patio doors open at night so we could hear the waves (and yes, they are pretty loud).

9. Furniture looks like it was from the 90's and was really worn in - good if your trying to reminisce about your childhood, depends on what your looking for- loud on Lanai, you can hear full conversations of people above and below and all of the footsteps and chairs creaking.
"Average at Best " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/29/2010 Vote
10. - sound travels from the balconies directly above/below if your neighbors are loud - would be nice to have a few more 'beach amenities' in the rooms (chairs, beach towels, coolers, boogie boards).
"Not perfect...but great value " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/12/2010 Vote
