6. In no particular order, here are my complaints:*hard-to-navigate entrance with numerous steps to the reception desk*completely inept 'posers' at the reception desk*waited hours after the normal check-in time for our rooms*common areas so dark you think you`re in a cave--even in daytime*run-down room with worn-out, unglued carpeting, sloppily dripped paint on the walls, cheap furnishings, and zero charm*scary back hallway in room (my coworker had this too, and he`s a large, generally fearless guy) that made me feel as if I had to check all the hiding places every time I returned to the room*drunk person asleep in front of my door at 1 am.

8. ' Details--like not being forewarned that the pool was closed for renovation, the overpowering smell of the deodorizers in the hallway and room, a worn school folder for the stapled menu and ratty photocopies of other information, and the lack of a top sheet on my bed--leave a sour taste for a $199 room.
"Not as bad as the worst reviews... " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/31/2005 Vote
