1. The negatives: outrageously expensive and rude valet service, a real mix of guests, many of whom are d-listers and trashy partiers, dinged up furnishings in the room and it's a bit overpriced.

2. My girlfriend and I are in our late 20's and love to go out but when you can't sleep and have to get seached by rude employees just to go to your room, I have a problem with that.

3. The hotel security was very rude with us having to wait in a line to show are ID just to get to our room as it is the line to also get into the club.

4. Anyway back to the Roosevelt, the main thing that lets this hotel down is the RUDE unwelcoming staff, especially on the front desk.

The front desk staff were ridiculously rude and full of attitude when we attempted to check in early, so we went to the pool, where the hostess gave us a hard time getting in, and then some guy in a Fedora hat with a little spiral notebook informed us we were not likely to get poolside chairs until 4 p.

10. If spotting celebs is your thing and you want to do 'Hollywood' LA this may be your place, but I found the staff distant, bordering on rude, and - as I said - I'm still hurting over that salad.
