1. I have been Diamond for awhile (work hard for that) and was hoping to be in a suite or at least a nice ocean view room.

3. fortunately I discovered that my room was close enough to the Kohala pool area that I could tap in to the free wifi there, but by this time I wasn't really much in the mood to access the internet anymore so hardly used the service anymore.

4. The room was also a little on the warm side while trying to sleep and hardly used a sheet to cover.

5. hardly any shade (there are no umbrellas in this resort) The only shade you'll find is next to the caves and under the hanging bridge.

7. Friendly staff, sometimes hard to find though, and they adjusted an incorrect upgrade charge immediately when I brought it to their attention.

8. It's hard to see the 'real' Hawaii if you never leave the grounds so a few nights were just enough for us.

9. The hotel is big but we liked that being a couple as we could go for walks in the evening and hardly see anyone and it felt very romantic, we will definately be going back next year.
