1. Small rooms, horrible A/C units.

2. The walls were scratched and marked, the bathroom ceiling had been patched but they had not bothered to paint it, the bathroom faucet leaked, and the sliding door out to the balcony squeeked horribly and wouldn't lock.

3. The balcony had a nice view of Waikiki beach, but I was facing the pool and the breakfast entertainment was SO loud and horrible, and it woke me up every morning (not to mention the evening entertainment, which was also loud and awful).

4. We stayed the first 3 days at a posh 5 star hotel ( weren't paying) got no sleep, in smiling service, just horrible, then we moved to the Aston Waikiki Beach hotel for last 3 nights.
