3. We did visit the pool bar but found it to be on the expensive side, being that you could walk across the street to the Marriott and get the same for a lot less.

4. The breakfast by the pool was nice, although it does get old after a couple days of eating the same fruit and danishes, you get a cooler and can take as much as you like so that helps with snacks throughout the day since food is so expensive, so can't really complain.

5. The bus stop and Trolley stop is outside the hotel and not very expensive, the ding ding of the trolley buses do tend to disturb any mid day siesta's or lay ins but you soon get used to them and who wants to waste a moment in such a fabulous location as this.

6. The views were everything we expected and it is really useful to have the various takeaways underneath as eating out can be quite expensive.

7. Learning to surf at North shore - there's many different schools out there, we tried North Shore Surf Girls and found them good but a little expensive.
