1. only minor complaint was the first room they checked us into had 2 double beds rather than the king we requested, the double beds were very small and we were quite uncomfortable, but they moved us on our 3rd day to a king room.

Checkin: fast, professional and great hospitality - from the carhops to the bell servicesRoom: Our room was in the ocean tower - so we had a nice ocean view; heard no noise at all; beds very comfortable; room exceptionally clean - bathroom a bit smaller than expected Pool: large saltwater pool with large attached hot tub area - lots of chairs and an open pool bar/grillBeach: narrow and ROCKY - ROCKY - so if you want to dive in to a sandy bottom - this is not the spot for you - the beach head itself is nice sand - but what bugged me is a few things - we woke up and there were several 'bodies' camped out along the back side of the hotel - no, not teens - more like homeless , sad - but made sitting there in the morning before the beach services set up very uncomfortable - also - they clearly did not rake the beach there at nite - I could see alot of small rubbish all over - on a positive note - it is narrow and quiet once things get going - there is also a food court on the Ft Derussy side of the hotel,which has some decent beach food incl shaved ice.

3. However, be careful with this area of the beach as it is very rocky making it uncomfortable on your feet if you do not have water shoes.

4. It's rather an uncomfortable and unsecure feeling hauling a $2,500 laptop to the APPLE store trying to download or send a file over on the sidewalk outside of the APPLE store (after the store closed).

Pros:-Very nice rooms, great location (close to everything), great beach access, awesome pool and hot tubs, very clean, okay on premises restaurants, okay gymCons:-Pillows were very uncomfortable (very big), no movie channels - very few channels total, no airport shuttle, view is very limited (Full Ocean View room)Overall, our stay here was very comfortable.

However the service we received was very mixed - the front of house staff were very friendly and helpful, however we had 2 problems with our room and had to be moved twice (1st time the room wasn't the room we'd booked, 2nd time there were insects in the bathroom), during this the manager who helped us with the insect problem was excellent, the lady on the front desk was civil but not exactly friendly, and the two bell boys who moved our luggage were downright rude and made me very uncomfortable.
