1. We upgraded to a partial ocean view room (on the 9th floor) prior to arriving, after reading previous reviews about the traffic noise.

5. What I didn't like was that noise from other rooms or from the corridor is easily hear in the room, so I am assuming that sound-deading in the wall is poor.

7. The third stay was through a weekend and we ended up in a room on the 2nd floor which was super noisy, you could hear all the street noise and noises from the hotel - not much sleep occured during this stay.

10. Ocean views are over rated how much time are you going to spend in your room anyway? i did pay for partial ocean view probably would not next time we stayed in Pacific tower over the pool and pool bar area no noise to complain about other than live music from 6-9pm but once that was over it was very quiet.
