1. They switched our room without much of a hassle (of course I had to pay more) but the ocean view is worth it.

3. The staff were great and best of all we didn't get hassled by timeshare or 'holiday/vacation' sales people, which was a relief after Florida and Cancun.

5. The only major advantage with the upgrade was that your food gets served, but serving your own food from the buffet should not be a hassle and the line moved very quickly, oh.

6. Bad points: Poor housekeeping - rooms not properly cleaned, unhelpful front desk and bell staff, and the worst is that this hotel faciliates timeshare selling by allowing timeshare desks on its premises whose people hassle guests walking past.

8. renovated since we were last here 'the reef' looks fantastic with a great new foyer and lovely staff at check-in, surprisingly we were not hassled by any timeshare salesman while here.
