ask if your room has a window because we did,t have one the staff were very friendly and merlin the doorman was always on hand with local information the hotel is basic clean and it is in a central spot close to all the shops and very near to bourbon

hope to return to new orleans maybe a more modern hotel.

I might stay here again if the price is to good to pass up, otherwise I will try my hardest to look else where within walking distance to bourbon

The location was great; a short walk to the French Quarter and Canal
Street
, but far enough off the main drag to be quiet at night.

The location is brilliant - if you want to walk everywhere and be just a few minutes from Bourbon
Street
this hotel is probably the cheapest you are going to find.

Big big plus the hotel was with in walking distance of Bourbon
Street
, Water walk the Casino and the French Market, but far enough away not to be disturbed by constant noise, it was clean, room always smelled fresh, the carpet was slightly dingy.
