2. There are plenty of other places to stay when visiting New Orleans, a lot that are newly remodeled, new carpet, nice bedding and also centrally located - so go ahead and stay at one of those other properties; this particular Holiday Inn property doesn't deserve your hard-earned money.

3. I paid just over $100 for each night & have heard of people getting better value for their money at the Holiday Inn in the French Quarter.

4. However, that being said, it apparently is in the process of being sold so neither the current owner nor the new owner is putting any money into it.

7. I noticed the hotel is renovating a room to make it into a fitness room (which is nice idea), however I would suggest that they should first invest the money into renovating the rooms.

8. It is very difficult to park a car in any of these car garages in New Orleans so it is worth the extra money to let them do it.

9. I don't know how I will get the money back, but if this is how they do things at Holiday Inn Express, I wonder how many of the bad stay experiences I have read about are true.

10. It shouldn't be allowed to take money from tourists & shouldn't be allowed to run due to the obvious lack of hygiene.
