1. I was 2 rooms away from the elevator bank so I can only imagine what it must have been like if you were right next to it, and 5) the fitness center is pretty good but they charge to use it if you don't have enough HH status, the TVS on the wall are tiny and the machine I used didn't have a working TV.

2. I have to wonder why the Hilton charges for wifi services when so many businesses offer wifi free and charge for the gym.

6. NEGATIVE: took over 2 hours to check into our room; we were overcharged $950.00 on our VISA (two holds were placed); when we brought this to their attention, the front desk staff member was not very concerned about the error and then added to the error by charging the VISA the $950 rather than removing one of the holds; (we must say however, that when we brought this to their attention the second time, the manager on duty finally fixed the problem and offered one night free of charge for the error).

7. POSITIVE: Rooms were wonderful, amazing view; can't beat the location; bell staff were polite and very helpful; fitness facilities were amazing (however required an extra charge per day); during conference held at the Hilton all staff and servers were top notch; meals were delicious and the parade organized from the hotel to Mardi Gras World was a great kickoff to the conference.

8. Firstly the lady checking me in kindly upgraded me free of charge from a no view double to a 27th floor king overlooking the river, the room was pretty nice if a little bland maybe but the bed was amazingly comfortable.

9. com and received a room with 2 double beds on the 18th floor for $89.00 a night, our first room was in one of the buildings along the river,so I called the Hilton Riverside directly and requested a room in the main building,I even requested a certain room and our request was granted free of charge, all I told Hilton was that we were Hilton Honor members.

10. On top of this, I was charged $18.00 per 24 hr period for 'internet access' (something that most hotels offer free of charge) , then I was charged $32.
