1. I didn't eat at any of the hotel restaurants, but there was an Au Bon Pain halfway down the block that had good affordable breakfast and lunch, Chinatown is about 5 blocks away and if you like beer and German food, Jakob Wirth was a great find on this trip (so there is good affordable food in the neighborhood).

4. An easy and excellent restaurant is across the street (Via Matta) but avoid ordinary Legal Seafoods unless you like boring food.

8. Mc Cormacks and Schmicks also very nice especially the sea food more reasonably priced and there is an irish pub also in the hotel where my husband enjoyed a few pints of Guinness.
