1. Molten Brown amenities were lovely and the bed linens, and towels were soft and comfortableWe did have room service once and the food was hot and delivered quickly--not always the case in many hotels.

4. finally a young white lady (apparently the head of the 7th floor housekeeping) resolved the problem and had extra towels sent up for us (great since we only had 2 anyways!)The hotel needs a complete overhaul to return to its former glory.

7. When I stay in a 5 star hotel I expect certain things such a slippers with turndown, the ice bucket to be filled, new soap and fresh towels, and bottled water weather it is complementary or not to be replenished.

8. What is incredible is the instant hot water, great shower pressure, soap, shampoo etc. Nightly turndown and towel change flawless as was the maid service.

9. Agree with the Waldorf comparison -- very old school (which we like) and while none of the furnishings appeared to be brand new, everything was nice enough, and the linen and towels were great.
