7. Our daughter evidently charmed the staff in the cafe at breakfast as she was waited on by several staff members, who provided her with a complimentary plate of blueberries and continually cleaned up the floor of the mess a toddler is wont to make.

Taj has a beautiful lobby, nice workout room on the 4th floor, no pool on the premises, our room did not have a coffee maker in it, heard the door noises from the hall, only parking offered was $42 valet, housekeeping was most gracious and offered free bottled water, bed turndown, and chocolates,the hotel provided complimentary newspaper -New York Times.

10. Nice touches included turndown service (as expected), shoe shine, and complimentary umbrellas in your closet (glad we didn`t need it!).
