1. For example, there are 5-7 doormen/valets standing around doing nothing when you pull up in your vehicle, and none of them lift a finger to help you with bags, help you check in, or even say, 'Hello, welcome to the Taj!' Definitely not five-star service.

7. First, the 'good': the front desk staff upon check-in was friendly, the lobby was clean, the bell staff was friendly, and the views from the room were very nice (room 530 overlooks the Commons).
