5. check velet parking pricing as they dont tell you when you book the room which can add to be very expensive if you living there for more then two days.

9. My room overlooked Boston Commons, a nice view, and the location is walking distance to the Prudential Center, the financial district, Chinatown, and of course the theaters; parking in Boston is exorbitant, so I recommend not having a car.

Taj has a beautiful lobby, nice workout room on the 4th floor, no pool on the premises, our room did not have a coffee maker in it, heard the door noises from the hall, only parking offered was $42 valet, housekeeping was most gracious and offered free bottled water, bed turndown, and chocolates,the hotel provided complimentary newspaper -New York Times.
