1. On the positive side, after asking to see the manager, Dennis, and telling him that we would not stay in an un-air conditioned room, he did call around to local hotels and got us rooms at the beautiful air-conditioned Residence Inn Marriott.

4. If you decide to stay at the Brookshire Suites, make sure you report the smell of smoke to the front desk or you could find yourself with a hefty $250 charge and a manager unwilling to listen to reason and logic.

5. Geoffrey, who was the valet/luggage helper, was extremely friendly and welcoming, and Dennis, the Front Office Manager, was exceptionally helpful and accommodating.

9. The room were smaller than expected for the price but my family and I had an incident where our car was broken into while in the hotel's valet parking and the hotel manager Travis was great and I loved the way he handled the situation.
