3. The beds are exceedingly plush and comfortable - the breakfasts are a delight and the afternoon happy hour (a complimentary or two per guest) is a great way to re-charge before heading out to all the restaurants and clubs within a short walk from the hotel.

4. Thankfully this marginal separation from the harbor proper allows the hotel to charge roughly 30% less than its slightly better positioned competition; no complaints here.

9. If you decide to stay at the Brookshire Suites, make sure you report the smell of smoke to the front desk or you could find yourself with a hefty $250 charge and a manager unwilling to listen to reason and logic.
