1. right in the area of Union Square with all the shopping and has both the cable car stops and a bus stop within a block walk making it extremely convenient to use the public transportation.

3. It was right in Union Square so the shopping was great, it was only about 3 blocks from the BART municipal transit station, and there were more than enough restuarants and bars within walking distance.

Within walking distance of The Maiden Lane (Frank Lloyd Wright building) and tenor who sings on the street with the sound being carried for blocks, cable car turn table, lots of high-end stores, but also H&M, DSW, CVS, etc. Cable car runs down Powell street to end near Fisherman's Wharf or easy walk along Bay Street to Pier 33 and boat to Alcatraz Island.
