1. I know you cant do anything about the taxes or parking in a city like San Francisco.

5. We didn't eat in the restuarants, as the were a bit pricey for us, but what we saw on passing thru looked very nice,Only real complaint is the parking, was $48 a night, inc tax.

7. the Villa Florence is half a block from Union Square, with great public parking lots half a block in either direction.

8. Valet parking service was very good - I saw cheaper parking within a few blocks of the Villa Florence, but we liked the flexibility of no in/out restrictions that valet parking gave us.
