1. It's clearly a strategy by the hotel to attract bookings and one that has been picked up on by many of its guests but as the manager clearly addresses genuine issues directly on this site so in the interests of constructive criticism, I'm hoping he'll take this seriously - the additional $15 per night charge irritates and alienates guests and must inhibit repeat business - I urge you to abandon this ploy, include the $15 in the rate quoted and allow the hotel to earn its keep fairly (which I'm sure it will do).

2. When we checked out I requested to speak to the general manager of the hotel, I was told he wasn't at work today (you would think that with a major problem in the hotel like no running water the general manager might want to show up).

9. After I posted this review the General Manager, Jim Gerney contacted me via email to apologize for my experience.

10. After mentioning this in our post-trip customer survey, the hotel manager contacted me the same day via e-mail to apologize for the quality of our food, and promptly refunded the cost of our breakfast.
