1. On the plus side, the room was clean and quiet, everyone tried to be helpful, and the hotel is extremely close to good restaurants, Union Square shopping and theaters.

2. Great for holiday shopping at Union Square, good for meeting friends at cool new restaurants etc. But we stayed Easter weekend and found that the lobby bar had been remodeled and looked pretty snazzy, even the bartenders were excited.
