First things first, before you travel join Kimptons in Touch as this will entitle you to a
complimentary
drink in the opulent bar for each night you stay.

We were greeted by a
complimentary
bottle of champagne and chocolate-dipped strawberries on our first night which was a lovely surprise.

We were also disappointed to learn that this property doesn't offer two of Kimpton's signatures, a wine hour (a coupon for one beverage in the bar is provided instead, hardly an exchange since our two people for two nights were only offered one coupon) and
complimentary
robes in the room.

The front desk offered us
complimentary
drink tickets to the Starlight Room but didn't mention there was a cover charge of $15.

I also really enjoyed the daily 'treats' in the hotel lobby, like the

Arnold Palmers.

The staff was very nice and attentive, but like other reviewers, I was not told about the
complimentary
drinks at the lobby; however being a Kimpton member, I knew what to expect.

We had 2 coffees, 1 orange juice, banana, cereal, toast and a croisant for $35 + tip (however, I used the
complimentary
card I mentioned above)2) When we first arrived, our room was not ready.

We made ourselves Kimpton members online before we left home, so we had free wireless Internet in the room (10$ per day otherwise) and had 2 free bottles of water, a
complimentary
bottle of wine and coconut goodies (If you're not on the dog floor, you have 10$ free in the mini-bar).
