1. I came in for my 2nd stay and I swear the first time was awesome, they treated me like I made a lot of money, but the reality was i wore tight jeans.

3. Yes it is a very busy hotel and I am certain that they make lots of money, but if they treated their customers better and concentrated on short term investment to improve the rooms, they would make even more money and earn a better reputation.

7. Alcoholic drinks in the hotel were very expensive and it's a shame because the bar area and restaurant were lovely and we would have spent more time and money there had it been reasonable.

8. Totally suggest you get the New York City pass if you are planning on a lot of sightseeing - we paid $190 each for 3 day pass incl 3 day hop on/hop off bus and couldn't have got more value for money, got in loads of sightseeing and would have easily spent a good $200 more if not for the passes.
