1. There are additional charges if you want Wi-Fi ($14:10 per day!), further charges if you want coffee making facilities in your room and even charges for holding your baggage if you are too early to you check in and again if you are waiting for transport from the hotel to the airport, but travelling into New York before the transport arrives and despite the bizarre $3:75 per item fee, you are advised NOT to leave any expensive items in your luggage.

2. When I drove the car to the hotel, and Drita (the manager of customer relationship) waived the parking fee for me, of course, that was becuase I only parked there for one day, and she's very nice, speaking 6 languages, and consider what the customers needs.

Points of Concern* Air Conditioning did not work in all of our rooms -- very hot; possibly turned-off for season* Toilet maintenance day had units stored in hallways on multiple floors mid-afternoon, gone by evening (might not be a concern for some)* Black scuff marks on wall; yes, the hotel is older, but could have splashed some cleaner or paint to cover* In-room Internet--Ethernet (but fee-based)* Wonderful stone facade at entranceFrom this, you can decide if this hotel will work for your needs.

7. We first arrived on Saturday about 4 hours before Check In and the guest services lady was extremely helpful and let us do the check in paper work early and explained we could leave our luggage at the Hotel for a small fee until we were able to get our room key.

8. Hotel assessed a mandatory baggage handling fee of $7.50 per person, (claimed a union requirement yet no one offered any baggage assistance nor would they even hold the door), auto slide doors were taped off forcing you to struggle with bags through their revolving doors, rooms were average at best with heavy dust along all the baseboards, limited rooms with views, and during checkout caught maids helping themselves to bottled water and cupcakes meant for the kids.

9. The carpets were old, dirty and worn, the paint was peeling and the wallpaper was stained and there were absolutely NO worthwhile facilities unless you were prepared to pay over and above the extortionate fees already paid for what amounts to a tiny, lifeless room.
