2. We met with the manager of the hotel and told her how much we were enjoying our stay and we came back after dinner to find a complimentary bottle of wine and cheese in our room with not to mention two sticks of lipstick that we had admired.

4. He took a special interest in me amy my daughter, keeping us out of the rain, hailing cabs and even following me into the fabulous Cuban coffee shop next door to tell me he'd arranged a complimentary dinner in the hotel restaurant for me and my daughter.

5. We also had a couple of very nice pre-theatre dinners on Restaurant Row (Basilica and Cara Mia) which were walking distance from the hotel.

9. I had read on here about staff being unhelpful but for us that couldn't be further from the truth, from holding our bags, fixing our tele within minutes of calling and booking reservations for dinner they were great.
