1. 3rd Avenue, the next street to the East is good for bars and restaurants.

2. Incidentally we got a better rate from the hotel web site than from anything offered by Expedia etc. Large comfortable bed, and although we were on the 3rd floor overlooking the street we did not find the traffic noise intrusive.
