1. Incidentally we got a better rate from the hotel web site than from anything offered by Expedia etc. Large comfortable bed, and although we were on the 3rd floor overlooking the street we did not find the traffic noise intrusive.

2. Booking direct with the hotel gave us the best rate and I always think (maybe I'm wrong) in doing that you should get better service should problems arise.
