2. Good location though previously stayed at Hotel Metro on the West side which I think I prefer as most things are on the West than on East, however good delis nearby, Blooms and hotel restaurant Rare lovely breakfast and nice dinner.

Other restuarants/food outlets in our list included: - Blue Smoke BBQ @ E27th St (nice atmosphere), - Balthazar @ Spring St (act sincere & pitiful if you do not have reservations and do not wish to be on their 2 hr waiting list) - Jacques Torres Chocolate (Main @ Hudson/Charlton, Branch @ rockerfeller) - Don Giovanni (W44 ST - great pre-broadway dinner place)We'll be back.
