8. We love to walk but since the surrounding area is kind of dull, we ended up using cabs and buses instead of going to Central Station everytime.

After walking around the area ,we were happy with the location,its in a nice clean street with a 24 hour deli and a fruit stall on the corner, its a nice walk to the other more hectic parts of Manhattan, and if you wander around the local area, there a few nice delis and bars, and it feels like you are mingling with real New Yorkers,not just tourists.
