3. The restaurant is not open at night for dinner because as the hotel staff explained, there are so many restaurants in New York that people living in the hotel were out exploring the city and therefore it wasn't economical to open at night, We were happy to eat out and come back to the bar every night for a nightcap before retiring to bed.

5. After walking around the area ,we were happy with the location, its in a nice clean street with a 24 hour deli and a fruit stall on the corner, its a nice walk to the other more hectic parts of Manhattan, and if you wander around the local area, there a few nice delis and bars, and it feels like you are mingling with real New Yorkers, not just tourists.
