Lots of lovely free luxury touches, bathrobes, candles, earplugs ( remember you are in central midtown, you will hear city noise at night, that's part of the NYC experience) Korres bath products, BOSE iPod deck, and iPad, yes an iPad, for hotel services and chargeable internet ( Free wifi should be standard now.

There is no mention of how to make a phone call to either reception or an outside line, no mention of how to connect to the wireless network for your own computer, and when I wanted to go to the business center to print my boarding pass, I had to go down to reception to ask where the business center was.

9. We were given a password for the wifi and never charged for it - I don't know if that's hotel policy, but that went a long way toward making me love this hotel.
