4. The bar looking interesting and inviting, but not too crazy, which I prefer when I am on a business trip-- who needs thumping bass downstairs (a la the W) when you just have to get up early for a meeting the next morning?) Great spot all around.

9. If you want contemporary with a good bar scene this is the place If you are looking for quiet and traditional, the Royalton is not the place.

10. Horse and Carriage in Central park is magical, as was the shopping etc.We found some nice Champagne bars, one was Campbells I think around 50thst.
