1. Checkout was good and easy and they arranged a brilliant car service for our trip back to JFK - Kevin at best in class cars was a great guy and a nice way to end our holiday.

2. Staff were excellent, everything worked, lighter colours meant small rooms (no worse than norm in NYC) didnt dominate, great slate shower instead of ridiculous US half size tub, generous late checkout; bar and cocktails great.

We had a bill outside our door on the day of checkout, and noticed we were accidentally charged for something in the mini bar that we definitely did not consume (everything is very expensive, so we never dare touch anything when we stay in hotel rooms!) but the receptionist took it off the bill no questions asked.
