1. All we really got with that was a fresh bottle of water in the fridge every day and towels by the pool.

2. --towels were neither large nor soft--the new pool is too small and the hot tub is very small--one night during a storm, we got zero help from staff regarding accurate information about road conditions (flooding).

6. And the loungers near the pool are on the other side of a walking path that's being used for construction, so nice to have a mat (or a bunch of extra hotel towels) as you'll likely be laying right on the sand.

Pros:- The grounds are well-kept and very nicely landscaped with lush plants & koi ponds- Super friendly staff (concierge, check-in, housekeepers)- Right on the beach w/ access to shower and Lava's bar & pool- Included in the resort fee was an evening tidepool tour - I recommend, was fun!- Could check out free beach towels & snorkel/fins for $15 for 24/hours at the activity center- A block away from Poipu beach park - the best snorkeling, saw a seaturtleCons:- The garden view was nice, but not as nice as the new section of the resort.

10. Monday, they opened the towel area that also sells sunscreen, and has free boogie board,snorkel and orange floaties for the pools.
