1. i was expecting motel 6 style bathroom like i saw in some pictures, but to my surprise it looked suited for a resort.

3. Superb sunset views, pounding surf, huge lanai, large bathroom with lots of storage, tons of airy closet space & lots of hangers, comfortable seating options, luxurious king bed, constantly replenished coffee, water & bath products & a relaxing ambiance.

First the good:--great location--easy access to many restaurants at all price points--beach is gorgeous and not very crowed--Kauai itself is amazing with moutains and ocean--room with ocean view was large, well laid out (especially the bathroom) with a good sized deck--when it is done, the new restaurant will have an awesome settingThe sad--in spite of assurances, construction was not done and will not be done for several more weeks.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights after 7 nights in Maui- Beautiful location and beach is nice - We had an ocean front room and the view was amazing- the room was nice- roomy bathroom , comfortable bed -Construction that was going on was no distraction whatsoever- My only gripe is that I would not say this is a Full service hotel- no room service for breakfast, no lobby shops or even a place to grab a cup of coffee to go- breakfast was served in an 'open air' terrace and only choice was their buffet- Their new pool is very nice but seems small compared to other hotels we have been to ( although their beach is very nice and wasn't crowded while we were there) While here we visited the Hyatt nearby and indulged in their breakfast buffet- amazing and beautiful resort- If you have the extra money I would say go for the Hyatt but I would recommend the Sheraton and would stay there again- I'm sure when their restaurant, Rumfire opens it will be even nicer-.
