Pros:- The grounds are well-kept and very nicely landscaped with lush plants & koi ponds- Super friendly staff (concierge, check-in, housekeepers)- Right on the beach w/ access to shower and Lava's bar & pool- Included in the resort fee was an evening tidepool tour - I recommend, was fun!- Could check out free beach towels & snorkel/fins for $15 for 24/hours at the activity center- A block away from Poipu beach park - the best snorkeling, saw a seaturtleCons:- The garden view was nice, but not as nice as the new section of the resort.

4. On our final day, our flight wasn't until late in the evening; so they stored our luggage for us while we took a surf lesson and then allowed us the use of a 'hospitality suite' to shower and get cleaned up before heading to the airport.

5. The bed was comfy as always, but the carpet needed a deep cleaning, the shower head was awful, and the toilet tissue holder kept falling off the wall.

6. Then you are also allowed usage of a Hospitality Room for a 1/2 hour to shower and fresh up before your flight.

7. The Garden View room has a comfortable bed and a nice shower with clothes line, an in-room fridge, and a balcony.

8. ) The room and balcony should not be dirty and dingy, with mold and mildew puddles all over the Lanai (#1134); and the shower drain should not drain so slowly that you stand ankle-deep in dirty water.

9. It wasn't uber-luxurious, and the bathroom could certainly use a remodel, but it was fully functioning and the shower was nice.
