1. The best thing about the hotel though is it's beach, which is just spectacular - good for sun bathing, swimming, and snorkeling.

5. We loved the North Shore (Princeville, Hanalei) - lots of beautiful beaches and great little places to eat and shop and nice little hikes to amazing places (Queens Bath and Secret Beach).

6. The bathroom was large but I had to clean it when I got there - to get rid of lots of black hairs around the sink and bath, and clean the dirt on the bathroom floor.

As far as the quality of the room, we were a little disappointed to find that it seemed like it needed a little updating - the bath tub, although very spacious, was badly scratched up and slightly moldy and was showing it's age (how did it get this way is what I want to know?!) and the towels and linens were a little tired looking.

8. It's not that the room needed remodeling or anything - it was modern in it's decor and furnishings and looked current, it's just that it looked like it had seen many guests and could maybe use new linens and new bath flxtures and a better cleaning.

9. Superb sunset views, pounding surf, huge lanai, large bathroom with lots of storage, tons of airy closet space & lots of hangers, comfortable seating options, luxurious king bed, constantly replenished coffee, water & bath products & a relaxing ambiance.

10. It had a couch, a lounge, two chairs, a flat screen - it had everything anyone could want, with chaises outside for sun bathing and bar service.
