The positives: Oceanside resort with spectacular sunsets;(mostly) friendly, helpful staff;Freshly renovated hotel, clean and spacious rooms, beautiful landscaping;Closet with nice big safe, iron, ironing board, lots of hangers;Comfy bed (they try to sell you this bed on their website; it's good, but actually not as good as ours at home that has a thermoelastic foam topper;)Gym actually faces the beach;Gorgeous, freeform, rock-lined pool w/ spacious spa that probably holds 6 couples at a time.

8. Only thing that irked me was that beach cabanas are $30 per day and are not included in the resort fee which however does include the gym, tennis and mai tai happy hour 3 days a week.
