4. I would highly recommend spending a bit more money to stay in one of the buildings on the ocean side, rather than the garden side, as they have a much better view and a balcony that overlooks the ocean.

6. Do yourself a favor and either splurge for a real resort where you'll be treated well (on the south shore, the Hyatt or Koa Kea or maybe the Marriott) or save money and do a condo or house with friends.
